Completion of a water supply project in northern Gaza
Introduction: In light of the difficult humanitarian conditions faced by the residents of northern Gaza, Dar Al-Attaa Association has implemented a water supply project with the aim of providing clean and healthy drinking water to local communities. This project comes as part of the association's commitment to improving the quality of life and meeting the basic needs of the community.
Project objectives:
Providing clean drinking water: Ensuring access to clean water to needy families.
Alleviating the suffering of water shortages: Improving the health conditions of beneficiary communities.
Raising awareness of the importance of water: Spreading awareness about the importance of consuming clean water and its impact on public health.
Implemented activities:
Identifying beneficiary areas: A field survey was conducted to identify the areas most in need of water.
Drilling water wells: 5 wells were drilled in strategic areas.
Installing purification systems: Installing water purification systems in wells to ensure their quality.
Water distribution: Organizing campaigns to distribute clean drinking water to needy families.
Results:
Pure drinking water was provided to more than 2,000 families in northern Gaza.
Improving the health conditions of community members and reducing diseases associated with contaminated water.
Enhancing cooperation with local communities and increasing awareness of the importance of clean water.
Challenges:
Lack of financial resources that affected the expansion of the project.
Difficulty in accessing some areas due to security conditions.
